Hi I would like to invert WC profiles to estimate the values of the soil hydraulic parameters. I try to combain an initial estimation of the soil hydraulic parameters (Type 7-11) but the inversion dosen't take it accont. In Fit.out the contributions of these types to the final objective function is high and in"Observed & Fitted Quantity" table the fitted values are '0'.
You likely have Types or Positions (Material Number) wrong). Also note that values have to be in the Y column. Below is an example (for, alpha, Thetar and Ks. J.
Measurement Set 7: 0.4000E-05 Measurement Set 8: 0.1000E+01 Measurement Set 9: 0.9000E-03 Measurement Set 10: 0.1000E+01 Measurement Set 11: 0.4000E-03 Measurement Set 13: 0.2729E+00
RSQUARE for regression of predicted vs observed =0.16231

I have tested it just before I typed my response. Thus I'm prety sure that it is working. Make sure that you write these values at the end, after you write all other values, which include time.
